Amazing that you did this after just jumping back into art, and with the supplies you had!! Excellent work I love it:)

Thank you! You are kind! Nowadays I don't have much time (or fancy suplies) to spare drawing or painting, but it has never left my heart! So when I had the chance I took It with what I had at home!
Self portraits are tricky!! My submission is my first ever self portrait and also a pretty good depiction of what my life looked like when i painted it, I'm rubbish at digital art so kudos to you<3
Oh my, thank you so much. I'll have to check out your piece!
I love the zentagle-like doodles to contrast the focal!! Great work:)
Thank you
This is precious!! Jazza means that you have to submit sketches or pictures of the work not completed yet to make sure you're not using plagiarized work:)
Thank you I finally figured out how to use it 😅😁
This is stunning!! How old are you if you don't mind my asking, the progress you've made is wonderful and I love the monochromatic aesthetic <3
Thank you very much. I’m not used to sharing my art, but the topic was particularly special for me. I’m 26 and I’ve been chronically ill for the last seven years. It makes art difficult because I never know when I will feel well enough to work on it so I usually have to do it all in one go ( and I don’t have much endurance). I will be struggling for the next few days because of it, so I’m glad to hear that someone other than myself appreciates it. 😊
**Im not sure if my age disqualifies me from the beginner category. I wonder if Jazza would consider 9 months as a beginner since I’ve only made about 100 pieces of art total and most of its junk. 😬
This is wonderful for twelve!! Wonderful in general really, keep it up!!
Thank you!!!
I'm only two years older, and have never had professional or any sort of art training, even older kids drawing for the first time had the courtesy to enter the regular contest. I would consider myself a beginner, as it's been barely a year since I started working to improve my art. It's also my first time in an art competition but I didn't submit here because I know there are young young kids who will feel discouraged, as I would have at age 12, to see a piece that clearly has years of experience behind it. I hope you'll reconsider your category.
I made this decision because I wasn‘t sure where to put this illustration. There‘s no years of experience behind it, actually, I started digital painting three months ago and I didn‘t have any training either. Well, I learned through trying and videos from other artists on Youtube, but nothing more than that. And I had my doubts because I knew in the open category there were professionals that worked with digital devices for years and years.
I am open to change that decision though, it is not a final one. There are still more than two weeks left to do so, and obviously, I don‘t want to ruin the competition for others, everyone should have fun with this. :)
I love what you replied about the MRI, I've undergone a lot of brain MRI's and i think the tonality really suits it
I really appreciate this comment, and I am glad that you were able to relate to it!
I started this to enter Jazza's contest but let me know if I should post more here!! It seems like a great community!!
